Bob Lyons, Company Owner and President, has over 25 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry. Bob managed the FHA claims and servicing review contracts for HUD, and is responsible for the design of FHA’s current single family claim review process. He worked with FHA on many policy initiatives relating to loss mitigation, foreclosure oversight, and claims management. Some of these initiatives include updating the special forbearance program, implementation of the pre-foreclosure sales program, development of foreclosure timeframes, streamlining of preservation and protection guidelines for FHA insured properties, and implementation of various regulatory changes. Bob drafted and assisted FHA with the current Single Family Claims Instruction handbook, numerous mortgagee letters, and regulatory changes. Bob currently provides Lyons McCloskey clients with expert consulting services on FHA loss mitigation, foreclosure, and claims management matters. Recent engagements have resulted in a number of significant cost saving initiatives.
